Buss Group
The Buss Group is a medium-sized, owner-managed and customer-focused service provider. Buss has its origin in the Port of Hamburg. Established 1920, Buss is a reliable, diversified and innovative service provider in logistics related business areas. Since the middle of the 1990‘s, Buss has diversified its business activities. Today, Buss comprises of the following business units: Port Services (Buss Ports), Logistics & Commercial Real Estate (Ixocon) and Private Equity Financing (Buss Capital).
Buss Ports operates efficient Multipurpose-terminals and has offices in Hamburg, Antwerp, Stade, Sassnitz and Wittenberge. The port services are: stevedoring, lashing & securing and packaging for export. Ixocon develops, leases, manages and revitalizes logistics real estate and business parks. Buss Capital is a leading German KG house for closed-end funds in shipping and transport logistics. Buss Capital is market leader concerning container funds. Aug. Bolten - the traditional shipping company in Hamburg - is connected to Buss via a share of 49%. Buss has over 400 employees.
