Iron foundries have a tradition of 250 years in Torgelow. Experience was handled over through generations and leads the EGT to the current high professional competence in the development, production and testing of hand moulded grey and nodular graphite iron castings.

Well trained, superior qualified and motivated staff compared with continuous improvements of metallurgical know how enable EGT to manufacture complex and application specific castings according to customers`s requirements. Notable global customers confirm EGT´s short term, flexible, reliable and efficient realization of every single purchase order.

During the last 6 years EGT did major investments and is now able to produce castings up to 150 tons by using leading edge technology and most modern technical equipment.

Among other things EGT supplies German and global leaders in the wind industry with hubs (up to 42 tons/piece), mainframes (up to 80 tons/piece) and other components for wind turbines.

EGT`s quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008 by TÜV Nord.
