KENERSYS is a specialist for onshore multi-megawatt turbines especially developed for low and medium wind speed sites, a market segment that will drive the future growth in the relevant wind markets all over the world.

The KENERSYS Headquarters and GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER (GTC) are based in Muenster (Germany). The GTC is equipped with 400 years of expert knowledge in the wind sector: This unique technical competence gives the company a sound technology base for expanding its position in the wind turbine market.

KENERSYS has two full-fledged production facilities with a total annual capacity of 950MW – the turbines for the European market are assembled in Wismar (Germany). For the Asian market KENERSYS produces in Baramati (India).

KENERSYS portfolio comprises three turbine types: K82 2.0MW, K100 2.5MW and K110 2.4MW. All turbines are equipped with the unique SYNERDRIVE TECHNOLOGY^TM. The KENERSYS synergetic drive train technology combines the advantages of an improved distributed drive train concept with a unique electrical architecture. Because of this the turbines fulfil all modern grid requirements and harsh grid conditions.
