The condition monitoring system MDSWind® for online-monitoring of wind turbines collects the vibrations of all power-train-components. It detects the spectra and compares the current condition with the expected. If an abnormal event occurs the MDSWind® will be transmitting the alarm to the responsible staff automatically. The condition of the power-train will be recorded continuously. Thus the cause of malfunction can be calculated. Using MDSWind® helps to increase the equipment availability and to organize maintenance better.
