wpd is Germany’s leading developer in the field of renewable energies especially wind energy and offers complete services from one source:

Since its foundation in 1996, wpd has installed more than 1,600 wind turbines with approximately 2 gigawatts. Some 400 employees in 21 countries provide effective processes from conception to ongoing operations. Subsidiaries in Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain, Eastern Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Australia ensure the realization of international wind farm projects.

Throughout Europe, wpd develops offshore wind projects with 9,000 megawatts. In the meantime, four projects in the North and Baltic Sea that have been approved and are ready for building were sold to the energy supplier EnBW and will be built in cooperation with wpd as project manager. In January 2010, wpd offshore solutions GmbH was founded. Since then, the company offers operators, investors and project developers a comprehensive range of services provided by a team of experienced offshore-specialists who accompany and support the project at every stage according to requirements.
