The fifth Future Conference Wind & Maritime – the only conference connecting wind Energy with maritime industry - focused on market and technology trends related to wind energy (onshore and offshore), marine industry and marine technology from 13 to 14 April 2016 in Rostock.
Wind farm projects, market development, grid expansion, storage, cost reduction potentials, marine services and subsea technologies were some of the main topics presented by about 40 speakers. Exchange of information and networking towards new business activities between the more than 350 national and international expected participants hab been the objective here.
For the opening on 13 April 2016, we looked forward to an impulse presentation held by Prof. Dr. Dr. Klaus Töpfer (Executive Director) from the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies. Afterwards, parallel expert forums on wind energy took place. The evening reception in maritime atmosphere offered the opportunity for informal exchange and networking.
